Personal, bespoke funeral flowers

Funeral flowers don't have to be traditional or formal. I particularly love creating tributes with some meaning behind them: someone's favourite flower or colour, flowers they grew in their garden, or something that reflects their personality, hobbies or the things they loved.

My aim is to create a tribute to the individual, rather than something chosen from a catalogue. If you have an idea in mind, I'll work with you to bring it to life. If you don't, that's absolutely fine too, and I'll guide you through the options.

Cremations

I create coffin sprays, wreaths, sheaves and other personal tributes for cremation services. Flowers can be displayed during the service, at the wake or taken home by family afterwards, depending on your wishes and the crematorium's arrangements.

Church funerals and burials

For church funerals and traditional burials, I create coffin sprays, wreaths, sheaves, posy pads and bespoke designs. They can be traditional and understated or more natural and garden-inspired, depending on what feels right for the person and their family.

Green and natural burials

I also offer more natural, eco-conscious funeral flowers for green and natural burial grounds, including relaxed, meadow-style designs that complement the natural surroundings. I'll check the requirements of the individual burial ground with you so the tribute is suitable.

Keeping the flowers after the funeral

After a funeral, flowers may be left at the church, crematorium or burial ground, or taken home by the family.
If you've ordered a coffin spray from me, I offer an optional service to collect it after the funeral, carefully take the arrangement apart and turn the flowers into smaller bud vase arrangements for family members and guests to take home.

It's a simple way to keep a little reminder of the person you're remembering, and to enjoy their flowers for a little longer.

How much notice do I need?

Ideally, I ask for around one week's notice for funeral flowers. This gives me time to source the right flowers and create your tribute carefully.

I know funerals aren't always arranged a week ahead, so if the funeral is sooner, please still get in touch. I'll always do my best to help, depending on flower availability and my existing bookings.

I deliver funeral flowers to funeral directors and venues across Milton Keynes, Cranfield, Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Once the date and time are confirmed, I'll liaise with your funeral director directly about the finer details, including where and when the flowers need to arrive, so you don't have to worry about the practical side.

Funeral flowers

Chosen for the funeral itself, such as a coffin spray, wreath, sheaf, posy pad or letter tribute. They're usually delivered to the funeral director, church, crematorium or venue.

Sympathy flowers

Sent to the family or loved ones at home, as a way of letting them know you're thinking of them. They don't need to be a traditional funeral arrangement, and a thoughtful hand-tied bouquet can be a lovely way to show your support.

Prices depend on the type, size and flowers used. My funeral flowers start from £40 for a hand-tied sheaf, £50 for a wreath, £60 for posy pads, letter tributes and bespoke shapes, and £110 for coffin sprays. Bespoke designs can be created to suit your preferences and budget.

There isn't one set formula. A coffin spray is often chosen by the closest family, while other relatives and friends may choose a wreath, sheaf or another personal tribute. Some people choose flowers based on the person's favourite flowers or colours, while others prefer something more traditional.

There isn't a right or wrong size. It usually comes down to your budget, the type of tribute and how much you'd like the flowers to feature. I can recommend a suitable size, and you don't need to know any measurements or terminology before getting in touch.

Of course. You don't need a finished design in mind. Tell me a little about the person, your relationship with them, their favourite flowers or colours and the feeling you'd like the flowers to have, and I'll suggest suitable options.

No. You can contact me directly. If a funeral director is arranging the funeral, I'll speak to them to make sure the flowers arrive at the right place at the right time.

Yes. Let me know your budget when you get in touch and I'll talk you through what would work well within it, and recommend the most suitable type and size of tribute.

Yes. If you'd like to send flowers to the family at home, I can create a hand-tied bouquet or another suitable arrangement that feels thoughtful and personal, without being a traditional funeral tribute.
